Can you eat with rubber bands on your braces?
Most of the time you should eat with your elastics in and replace them with fresh ones after the meal. In fact, when you are eating you’re really putting your rubber bands to work and your teeth will move even faster!

When you have an overbite, the hooks on the braces are in different positions. You would want to wear the rubber bands with them stretching from the bottom, back teeth to the front, top teeth.
